Product Description
Primo is proud to offer this innovative water dispenser. You will be able to drink fresh-tasting bottled water without the hassle of lifting and upending heavy bottles. The cutting edge design features a hinged door and a sliding drawer in the cooler's base. Simply place the bottle onto the drawer, affix the pump, and the bottle slides unseen into the base of the cooler.
Like all of Primo's innovative coolers, this model features a stainless steel resorvior that keeps the hot water HOT and cold water COLD, as well as a child safety lock on the hot dispensing button. The combination of a high flow mechanism that cuts dispensing time in half and buttons on the top of the cooler eliminates the need to bend over while the dispenser fills your glass. This is a space saver and it is very attractive especially considering that you don't have to have a large bulky bottle out in view and in the way. This machine is very efficient and comes with a two year warranty but we have had no trouble. It does accept both size bottles but the 5 gallon does have a tight fit so patience is required. Of course the stainless steel is very easy to keep clean which is a huge plus with the children always getting their dirty hands all over it. The child safety control feature is excellent. This unit is loaded with many wonderful features. We like the dual LED nightlights for a cold drink in the dead of night and the low water indicator is a nice feature as well. The power save feature is a huge plus and we personally love the free space on top. The noise is appropriate and usual considering and not loud at all (that's relative though) to us and we have had no problems with poor tasting water. It seems to us that people who do have this problem simply do because as a direct result of not cleaning the lines properly or just not cleaning them at all. This unit has a great design. We paid about $170 and for this price, you just can't complain. This is an efficient well built and reliable product. We can say in all objectivity that we love this product and would buy another...and another but this one is reliable enough so I doubt that we will need to purchase another anytime soon.

I bought this cooler while in Japan. It arrived damaged and Primo promptly replaced it for free, INCLUDING postage. So, if you want an awesome watercooler that you don't have to dump a water-bottle onto every time you run out of water, this is it. The cooler puts out some very hot water or very cold, depending on what you need and it has a built-in nightlight, so you're not fumbling for a light-switch or trying to line it up just right when you're getting a late-night drink or during a movie. I love it and would recommend it to anyone. I only marked it down due to the aluminum construction and it being just a little too fragile. As for the noise it makes, it's not really that loud and only runs for a few seconds when the reservoir is low.

I hvae had this for about two years now. My husband is in the military, so we are geographically separated a lot. The bottom loading makes it much easier for me to load. I have not had too many problems with the seal. But if all the stars do not align correctly, it won't seal and the pump just keeps pumping forever. It is much more attractive than other top loading designs. However, in the beginning of owning this item, I had the incessant burnt plastic taste for months. I cleand and cleaned the lines. Finally, that taste went away on its own (after a couple of months though). Also, now the hot water doesn't dispense anymore. It trickles and is not worth the wait. The cold water is now room temperature. It does not cool the water anymore. But the water was never very cold anyway, just room temp now. And it runs constantly. Other models I have had did not do that. And it is loud, regardless of what anyone says. I have maintained this cooler and cleaned it per the owner's guide. It just is not worth the money.

We have had not seal problems using 4-gallon bottles purchased at Sam's Club. The only problem has been the persistent plastic taste, even after running at least 15 gallons through the device.

This machine is supposed to work with all standard bottles. The marketing info claims "Accepts all 3- and 5-Gallon bottles." However, despite following the directions and talking with customer service, this unit fails to achieve a tight seal with the pump (which pulls the water up from inside the bottle.) Every time it loses the seal, it stops pumping and beeps incessantly until I open the door, push down on the top of the pump, and shut the door. Every time I draw a glass of water, I have to repeat this process as many as 10 times until the next glassful is pumped!
I have not been this aggravated with a product in a long, long time. And since I've discarded the box, I'm going to have to switch water delivery companies, which is infuriating.
