Give it a try and just return it if you don't like it December 25, 2009 M. Sanon 186 out of 199 found this review helpful
I have had my health master for two weeks now. For about six months I had been looking for a blender that is strong enough to blend carrots and beets or any vegetable for that matter. One morning (flipping through the channels) I saw Montel's infomercial. I was very doubtful about the product especially with the price tag. One day I spotted this product at Target. I went back and forth at target for two weeks (looking at it, checking it out) before I decided to purchase it.
I have a top of a line power juicer. My biggest problem with the juicer is that it is very hard to clean. I've had my juicer for two year and I probably use it once a month on average (sometimes more than once in a month, sometimes I would go two months without using it).
After I got the Health Master from Target, I stopped by BJ's (wholesale store) got myself some frozen mix fruits, some low fat milk. I said "what have I got to lose, if it breaks I will return it tomorrow". The Fruit were put in while still frozen. I added some milk and hit the power button then the run button. At that time I didn't even read the manuals or even watch the DVD. As the blender started to run I increased the intensity. The blender went through the frozen fruits like a very hot knife going through butter. I pour some in a cup and it came out "BLENDED". I put it back in the blender and put some protein powder. Pour it back into a cup, it came out "BLENDED".
The jar is 70 ounces. I had enough for 3 days stored in a two bowls and put it at the top shelf of the fridge where it is the coldest and still have enough for a cup full for me right away. I sat down and enjoyed the best protein shake I have ever had in my life. The next morning I poured one bowl into my shaker bottle and take it with me to work.
I have to say, had I read the reviews before I purchased this blender I definitely would not have given it a try especially when the price is so high. I am now going to give my power juicer to my sister (making some room, and getting rid of old technology) and I am going to enjoy this blender until it either over last me or start giving me problems because I have plans to use it at least every other day.
I still haven't read the manual, I watched the DVD which was maybe 20 minutes. The manual is till new in its plastic. If I have to use an owner's manual (in today's day and age) it means...I don't know...I just hate reading user's manuals, lol.
I will keep on updating this post for better or for worst.
Thanks for reading!
Love this machine!!! Use it almost daily! January 29, 2010 Margo A. (San Francisco, CA) 12 out of 15 found this review helpful
I've had my HealthMaster for two months now and have made gelato, healthy and delicious smoothies with fruits AND veggies combined, hot soup and I've even mixed BREAD DOUGH in it. I have not bought a loaf of bread since I got the machine. (I've made 5 loaves of yeast breads so far.) I do prefer to not "cook" the soup in the machine, but instead finely chop the veggies in broth (it takes only seconds to do) and then add them into a pot with beans or lentils for texture and protein and finish cooking. I use a no-knead 100% whole wheat bread recipe (found on the back of King Louis brand flour) and it mixes the most moist, delicious bread without any struggle in the HealthMaster. I have refound the joy of cooking. My neighbors love my machine, too! I have shared about 5 different flavors of gelato with them as well as some bread. If you thoroughly DRY your HealthMaster components after washing, there is little chance of experiencing the rust issues some folks are talking about. I don't have a dishwasher, but it's a breeze to wash by hand as well. READ the short instruction booklet and you will enjoy a great machine. It is large, but I love this machine!
Great product, great price! January 5, 2010 K. Costa 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
We've had our emulsifier for about 3 weeks now and we love it! It truly pulverizes anything you put in it. We liked the idea of not separating the pulp from the juice so this works great for us. When you put unpeeled apples in you get microscopic bits of peel in your juice but we think it's great to get the extra nutrients. If you want just pure juice, then this may not be for you. But if you want to use every part of the fruit or vegetable (minus seeds) then you'll love this. The soup function hasn't worked very well for us at this point but that could be operator error.

I have had this HealthMaster for a month now and I think it is great I use it about 3 times a week it makes so much it does me for three days. I have not had any problems with this emusifier. I have read some bad reviews but it has worked good for me I think it is great. I have lost some weight I also put some protein power in it after I work out and it is sooooo good. You will love this machine.
Shocked by the bad reviews April 17, 2010 litsa3 (Baltimore, MD) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have to say I was shocked to come on to amazon and see all the terrible reviews for this product. I bought mine used off craigslist, have had it for several months, and I LOVE it. It is big and loud, but I don't find either of these things to be a problem. I may be singing a different tune if my motor burns out, but at this point I am amazed at how quick and effective this blender is. 10x more effective than any other blender I have ever had!
